Let us begin in the Garden. Sounds like something Chauncey Gardner would say, “As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden”. I enjoy vegetable gardening and flower gardening in a rural community in Washington state. Check in every month and learn from my mistakes. Lets face it. I wouldn’t be quite contrary if my garden always grew just fine.
Right now I’m pruning dormant trees and shrubs, clipping dead branches, and picking up moldy leaves around plants. The only thing blooming are Hellebore and Heather. The Witch-hazel is showing life. Next will be getting a trailer of compost dirt to add to the beds as I till under the cover crop. I’ve already ordered onion seeds.
January is a great time for gathering information. Here is my list so far. But actually Google is probably my go-to favorite.
